The Central Texas Veterans Memorial became a reality in 2016 following a 14-month drive to complete the first part of the memorial.  It is located across from the Hendricks Medical Center Brownwood and is a part of the Camp Bowie Memorial Park.

Several of the memorials were removed from other places in Brownwood to this location. This memorial includes granite monuments, metal plaques, memorial bricks, a walking trail, and a playground.  Links below will take you to the individual monuments, plaques and other features of this memorial.
